We have always been dedicated to helping customers save time and money by providing them (through our distributors) with the finest in media protection and attachment technologies via our Smart-Pack and Versa-Label product lines. Our customers include Fortune 500®, Fortune 1000®, International Fortune 500® and emerging growth companies.

Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes in beautiful upstate New York, Lauraville has 7,000 square feet of manufacturing space with an adjacent 20,000 square feet readily available.

The history of our name: Everyone seems to ask us about our name, so we have decided to tell the story on our website.

When we purchased the business in 1998, we wanted to have a name that was unique and did not tie us into “packaging”. The owner of Northeast Packaging (the old business name) was retiring, and wanted the business moved out of its location in Rochester, NY. We wanted the business to be located in the heart of the Finger Lakes. So we looked at a location in Clyde, NY. The particular location was located on the south side of Clyde, which as a local history buff, we knew to have originally been called Lauraville. Lauraville started as a village in 1811, named after the Countess of Bath, Henrietta Laura Pultney, the daughter of Sir William Pultney. On May 2, 1835, Lauraville and Clyde were incorporated as the Village of Clyde, and the hamlet named Lauraville slowly slipped away into the history books.

A search of Dunn & Bradstreet as well as the Thomas Register indicated that there were no businesses named Lauraville, so we decided to use that as the foundation for our name. We added Specialty Products to indicate that the company is not just a packaging house - that it in fact manufactures products. As fate would have it, the location in Clyde did not work out, we located the business in Geneva, NY.
